Why Acrobat is opening the old PDF file even after updating the file?

Just an FYI, this is just started to happening a week ago after an Adobe update.

I create PDF files through Illustrator and Adobe Distiller ,When I open the PDF file for the first time everything looks fine and if for any reason I need to update the file , when I reopen the file ( I close the first one but dont Quit the Acrobat ) it still reads the non-updated file. so I have to QUIT the program and reopen it.

I would appreciate any help

Thank you

I am on a Mac.

@shalo54  It sounds like Acrobat is caching the old version of a PDF file, even after the file is updated! Try clearing its cache, deleting the old file and any temporary files for that PDF. Double check that you the permissions to modify and access the PDF file. Incorrect permissions can hinder file updates. Verify that the file is not read-only.

Same issue here, super annoying.  How did you clear your adobe cache?

It went back to do it again,  I wish I could downgrade it to a previouse version.
