why am i no more able to combine word files into one pdf cause of an "unknown error"?

adobe acrobat dc (2015)when i try to combine them i receive an error about the lack of pdfmaker files and the request to run the installation program in recovery mode.doing that, unfortunately no way to get back the broken function.thanks in advance for any help

Hope the issue has now been resolved. And if you are still experiencing the same then you may check the latest update of the application.

Launch Acrobat>Help>Check for update

If it doesn't help, then you may try "Repair Installation" (For windows computer) Launch Acrobat>Help>Repair Installation
