Just a guess, but are there any unusual characters in the file name?

Also, there are many PDF features that will not work in browser viewers, The free Acrobat Reader is better.

Did you create these PDFs?

You need to ask the developers of the Chrome PDF plugin. It has nothing to

do with Adobe.
