why can't I print a poster?

I imported a poster to adobe from dropbox and I am trying to print it out, but the poster option in the print menu is greyed out. Can someone help me to get this thing printed?

Would you be more specific?

What is the file type of the poster?

Is the scaling of the poster done according to the scaling size that is allowed on your printer?

it is a pdf file. The size is 38x25. I managed to print a very similar file the way that I wanted to. I suspect that the creator does not allow printing like that as there are companies that sell prints like this. Is that possible?
