why does acrobat open automatically after printing a pdf file

good evening,

I have this problem that when you print a pdf file with the right button, acrobat opens automatically, and it's a problem, because I don't need it to open.

Do you know how I can make it NOT OPEN AUTOMATIC after printing pdf?

Hi Toni,

 

Thanks for reporting this to us.

If we understand the issue correctly, you get the Acrobat DC automatically opened in the background whenever you use the Quick Print Tool. Is that right?

 

Please share the following details:

1- Acrobat version. Open Acrobat>Help>About Acrobat

2- If you have started experiencing this issue after installing the latest patch, 22.001.20169, then Open Acrobat >help> Repair Installation (Windows only)

3- Check for Windows update (If any)

Hello Akanchha,

 

we have the same problem. When we right click on the PDF file in Outlook and click on Quick Print, the PDF file is printed and Acrobat is closed and reopens again.

 

We have installed the latest patch: 22.001.20169 and we are also on the latest Windows patch level.

 

Windows11/O365

 

A repair installation did not solve the problem.

 

Can you please give some advice? Thank you very much.
