Question
Why does Acrobat show a blocking “Installing update…” screen when launching? Most modern applications update silently in the background. This approach interrupts workflow and feels outdated.
I’d like to use Acrobat but get the following pop-up and have to wait for the update to finish installing. This usually takes several minutes which means I can’t access any PDFs at that time.
As I wrote above, this seems totally outdated!
