Why does Acrobat use so much memory even when the program is not open?

Hello, I have noticed that Acrobat is using a lot of RAM, almost 90% of available RAM, even though I have just turned on my computer and have not run the program yet. That causes my computer to sometimes freeze. How can I report this to Adobe so they know about this problem?

Hope you are doing well. Sorry for the trouble, and the delayed response.

We made many stability and performance enhancements with the subsequent releases.

Would you mind updating the app to the latest version (2024.005.20414) and let us know if the issue is fixed?

To do so, go to Menu-> Help-> Check for Updates.

We are live with a new update, which has several stability and performance enhancements.

Please update the app to the latest version (2025.001.20577) and let us know if the issue is fixed.
