why does mac Acrobat not allow cloud saving for pdf anymore

I have used Acrobat on my Macbook Pro for 14 years.

I recently changed my subscription to Teams and I have lost the ability to save to the cloud directly.

I only can save to my Mac.

I deleted and reinstalled Acrobat and problem persists.

Why?

in General preferences, checking the "show online storage" preference cured the problem.

I can once again choose save on my computer, or save in adobe cloud.
