Hello @Nhow77,
I hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We're sorry for the trouble you had.
Could you please share more details about the issue?
Are you signing via Adobe Acrobat Sign (web link/email) or inside the Acrobat desktop app?
Does the document have multiple signers, or are you the only person signing?
When it “starts over,” does it send you back to the first signature field, or does it reload the entire document?
Are you on a Windows machine or a Mac?
Suggestions:
It sounds like Acrobat Sign is sending you back to the signature/initial fields after you think everything is complete. The most likely reason is that one or more required fields still aren’t being accepted as completed, or the sender placed multiple required signature/initial fields assigned to you. In Acrobat Sign, fields marked Required must have content before your part of the agreement can be completed, and the signing experience’s field navigation is designed to move through required fields. Please try this flow, and let us know if that works for you:
Open the original Review and sign the email link again. Adobe’s signing steps start from the Review and sign email link, then you fill in the requested fields, select the signature field, choose Apply, and finally select Click to Sign.
Go through the document using the on-screen field navigation and make sure every highlighted signature/initial field has been completed. Acrobat Sign specifically tracks required fields on the e-signing page
After applying the signature/initials, don’t close the page until you select the final Click to Sign button. Adobe also documents the Acrobat desktop signing flow as: complete all required fields and signatures, then select Click to Sign.
If the page still loops, try reopening the link in the latest version of another supported browser, such as Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. Acrobat Sign supports electronic signatures through supported browsers.
If the same fields continue to repeat, ask the sender to check the form setup. Each field is assigned to a recipient, required fields must be completed before the recipient can finish, and a recipient can have more than one signature field in a document.
If this is caused by how the agreement was prepared, you may not be able to fix it as the signer. The sender should review the agreement fields and confirm that the signature/initial fields are assigned correctly and that there aren’t duplicate required fields for you.
I hope this helps, and let us know how it goes, or if you need any assistance.
Regards,
Anand Sri.
