Why has my Adobe DC started to give conversion failure when trying to convert a word document to pdf?

After six months of trouble free use my Adobe DC now refuses to convert my word documents to pdf, with a conversion failure message and nothing else.

As I use this for my business this is an issue I would like to get resolved asap.

I am using win 7 and an older version of ms office which has not caused me any issues in the past does anyone have any ideas?, any pointers would be most appreciated as I do not have the time to trawl through all the historic issues pages.

Hi Billh,

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you are getting conversion failure error while combining PDF file, Is that correct?

Please refer to the following link which discusses  similar issue: Combining Files- getting conversion failed Link: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1437386

If the issue still persists, please share the following details:

  • Is the conversion failure error is with one PDF or with all the PDFs?
  • Are you combining the PDFs through the free desktop version of Adobe Reader OR through Adobe Document Cloud at https://cloud.acrobat.com/convertpdf ?
  • If the Reader is installed, check the dot version of Reader from Help>About Adobe Reader.

Hope this helps, and keep us posted with the results.
