Question

Why install arabic language by default?

By default, a few Adobe software will install the Arabic language by default and this cause lots of problems. E.g. can't get your sign synced in Acrobat.

Lots of people reported this problem before, and the solution is always to uninstall the Arabic language. So, my question is why force people to install the Arabic language in the first place? This doesn't make any sense.

Hi jizheng_4328,

Thank you for reaching out, and sorry about the trouble

The application does not install any language on the system. Could you please share more information about the issue you refer to here? How are you adding the signature in Acrobat? Do you get any error message?

Please share the Acrobat and OS version numbers on the machine.

Feel free to let us know if you need any help.

Thanks,

Meenakshi

I have observed this too in at least 3 businesses including my current one over the last 2 years.

When installing Adobe Acrobat on English UK systems it automatically installed English with Arabic Support pack which breaks e-signatures completely.  If you go in and modify the installation, from the "Installed Programs" Windows application, and remove Arabic support option then the e-signature functions work correctly.  This isn't ideal, as a business we manage our installations and our users cannot access the installer from control panel but are allowed to install from Creative Cloud Desktop, which doesn't let them change the options, so we have to manually go around and uninstall the language pack after the fact.
