Question

Why is my laserjet printing this PDF with black outlines around the text?

I've tried printing as a JPG and PDF and same thing. These files were downloaded from Corjl. If I use the image I created in Illustrator it prints fine. If I print using my inkjet it prints fine. The first picture is how it is printing, the second is the actual file.

@defaultagg8hme4o3ig strokes to the text? When you set it to 'print' are you printing in a page layout? Or as copies? If it's pages/artboards, can you not say print from page 2+?

Not knowing if this is your colour laserJet, I would look at the printer's drivers and make sure you have the latest drivers, firmware and any other patches. I know my Epson printer seems to always sned me an update every two weeks!

Thank you for replying there are no strokes on the text. This was created in illustrator initially. Then I recreated it on corjl.com. I used that created file to insert my pictures, then download it to a pdf and jpeg from the website. Using either of the files downloaded from corjl, my laser prints with the outlined text. Printing to my inkjet from those files works fine.

If I use the original from illustrator and print directly from the artboard, or saving as a PDF/JPG from illustrator it prints properly.

I am wondering if it has something to do with transparency issues from corjl that my laser can't translate. As I selected flatten PDF when downloading from corjl.
