Why is taking years to add page numbers to my pdf?

My PC is top notch. 32 GB ram fast, good processor, no issues. 

Internet is usually getting at least 300mbps.

 

This feature is the only reason I chose to subscribe to acrobat, because acrobat reader does not have it. 

 

Please help.

@mrdhall23 normally I add page numbers in whatver app I am using. So, if I am using InDesign or even Word, I would add them in thos programs not through the PDF. 

Adding page numbers to a PDF will likly never be on the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. This functionality is considered an advanced editing feature that is exclusive to Adobe's paid products, such as Adobe Acrobat Pro or Adobe Acrobat Standard.
