Greetings all.

I need to send a set of very important docs for signature as attachments (not using the 'request signature function') to my business partner.

My mind is blown that you can't add a simple signature field when you create a form.  Am I missing something?  This must be one of the MOST basic possible needs for an Acrobat user. It is INSANE that you can't add a simple signature field to a form without using the 'digital signature' function.
The only reason for this that i can think of is that Adobe is trying to get more downloads through the 'send for signature' function.  They have intentionally made this product bad to try to make more money and they think we won't realize it.  VERY poor choice.

If anyone has a soliution please let me know.  I know you can create a text field and then they have to open in Adobe acrobat and use the Fill and Sign function.  But why is it this hard?  Adobe's market cap is $249.1 BILLION.  And they can't create a signature field??

When creating the form, did you tick the box that says "This document requires a signature"? If so, it was converted to an Adobe Sign form, and you need to revert it back to a regular Acrobat form to be able to add a Signature field to it. To do so click on Tools - Prepare Form and then click on "More" at the right side of the window and then on "Revert to Acrobat Form". In the future, do not tick this box.
