Why not free when it says free?

Very simple post, Adobe says that using the combiner is free. Twice. Yet it is not and instead requires a paid subscription. Why? Please fix Adobe.

I have the same issue, before you could combine your pdf files and insert the pages where you needed them, but now this is no longer possible. Adobe keeps becoming a worse and worse product.

We have checked your account using the email address linked to your community profile. There is no active subscription listed under that account.

Assuming you are using the free services on the Acrobat web, there is a limitation on the number of times you can use the services. When using the premium tools, you can make one free transaction every 30 days on a rolling basis. Hi,

The free Adobe Acrobat online Merge PDF tool has a page limit of 1,500 pages for the combined PDF. You can combine up to 100 files, with each individual file limited to 500 pages. Additionally, the free service has a file size limit of 100MB per file.

The free website tool appears to only allow 2 merges before locks into continual display of Adobe Pro offer. This has nothing to do with number of pages etc. It is tied to number of uses/pdf(s) attempted to be made.

Is the number of pdf(s) merged for free limited and why?

There is a limitation on the use of the free tools available on the Acrobat website. You can use the premium tools once for free every 30 days on a rolling basis.
