How do I search the content of protected Pdfs using windows 10 or 11 File search?

I can only search within Acrobat using advanced search (Ctr + shift + F).

However I need to search the content of protected Pdfs using windows 10 or 11 File search

This is about the specific protection set on the file. In Acrobat Reader use File > Properties. Look under the Security tab. What does it say next to "Content copying"? If it is not allowed, text cannot be extracted by file search, so it can't be searched.

Content copying is ALLOWED.

Regarding the windows files index and search content, everything is ok.

What else would you suggest?

It's is interesting because I can search all those Pdfs content  INSIDE Acrobat using advanced search (Ctr + shift + F)

Thanks for your help.

This is a question for Microsoft, then.

Does the file have an open password? If so, you can't do that unless you specify the password.

If it doesn't, does the edit security policy allow content extraction?

There’s NO password.

I don't know if I understood correctly, but in legal terms there would be no problem.

It's not a legal question, but a technical one. If the file has a security policy that prevents content extraction then searching it in this way might not be allowed.
