Without home interent access Adobe Reader does not work for filling out and saving IRS Tax Forms

I noticed for the first time this year that Adobe Acrobat for the Mac... OS 10.14.6 does not work for filling out IRS Tax forms and saving them... I've had to go to anohter PDF product online to do what I've always done with the Adobe Reader in the past.  This seems to be due to Adobe's only-oline interactive processing.  There should be an easier work-around for basic essentials like tax forms... otherwise, our now retired, but long time Adobe fans and users from the corporate and local government worlds are going to find better work arounds outside Adobe.

I think it would be quicker for us if you told us what happened or share a screen shot or two.

Try downloading the IRS form 1040sr... and then go offline and fill in some data and try to save and print the file... you'll probably see what I'm talking about... it looks like without internet access active, that something gets messed up?

Thanks
