won't print black

Question

The pdf came to me with gray copy. I changed it to black in Preferences but the printout was still gray. I have made every change I could find online: printing it as image, color as contrast b on wh, printing as custom color, changing advanced printing options, printing as black and white. Nothing makes a difference. Why does it insist on printing in the original gray and is there anything I can do to make it print the copy in black?

Other files print out correctly.

I wrote back to the person who created the file in the first place and asked her to send me a black and white version. She did and it printed out properly. Otherwise I would have been more than happy to send you the file. But thanks for the offer.

Hey Ngatu,Thanks for sharing the troubleshooting steps performed.As mentioned, printing as image, color as contrast, printing custom color and printing as black & white all the options you have tried, but it still gives no luck.There could be something to do with the document's properties. It would be easier for us to understand, if we'll have a look into the file.Would it be possible for you to share the document? If yes, you can share the file with us via email.
