WORD captions don't show in PDF

In Word, the captions show but when I created the PDF, the captions don't show, just a blank line.

Is this part of the hyperlink probles in WORD 365 (working in WORD and not in PDF)?

@Judy5E7D , the bugs were in the mid-September releases of Adobe and MS Office.

Check your software versions because updates have been released since then, and my tests show that Figure Captions work as expected (see attached Word and PDF files).

Check your versions here:

Microsoft: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/
Check the Update History section for your software. Make sure you have a version that was released in mid-October or later.
Adobe Acrobat DC Pro: https://www.adobe.com/devnet-docs/acrobatetk/tools/ReleaseNotesDC/
Install a version that was released after Sept 29, 2021.
