Word Count in Adobe Acrobat DC

Struggling to find how to do a simple word count of the whole document in Adobe Acrobat DC.

All the discussion posts I've seen suggest exporting to RTF and using Word or running a javascript script.

Seriously folks, It's 2022 and you can't include a simple word count feature in this product. Its not rocket science.

You can download and install the "Word Counter" plugin which is part of my free abracadabraTools:

Just be aware the results could be substantially different from those you will get in Word, for example.
