Question

Word Form not converting

Following the instructions to create an editable online form, I have a Word Document with form fields already completed. I do NOT want to recreate this form.

Open the file in Acrobat Standard DC, just purchased, and click Tools then Prepare Form. I get a message  No New Form Field Annotations Were Detected. The "Form" becomes just a standard doc, with all my form entries, pulldowns, etc. gone.

Someone have workable instructions to convert my Word Form into an PDF Form I can post online for people to fill out and submit?

Pardon the Salt. I've been working on this for hours, then spent $22 to create this form and it's not working. Just a little frustrated.

Sorry, we can't offer you any good news. The only form fields that are converted successfully are from OpenOffice documents.

Form fields in Office documents have to be recreated from scratch. You could have easily tested it, or find out about it by searching, before putting the effort into creating the fields in Word...

Yeaaaah... Misleading... when I followed the instructions to convert it said "Hey, buy this! Then you can convert you WORD document!"

Nothing about "Hey, if you had created this document in OpenOffice You could have converted this for $XX!"

But I've spent the money, and need to make the form so I'll start over.

And yeah, this time I won't spend a dime for any other "Hey, for $XX you can...".

As for your response, not appreciated. "You could have easily..." Nope. Not appreciated at all. Keep that crap to yourself next time mister knowitall.
