Word forms to Acrobat forms, conversion integrity

Is there a reliable pluggin/add-on to reliably transform Word forms into .pdf? Without exception I find that either conversions to .pdf (FROM Word), or direct IMPORT/scan file method (within Acrobat) requires most if not ALL fillable fields/dropdowns/etc. to be recreated in Acrobat. There must be a workaround to handle such conversions with integrity, yes? Please advise, anyone! 😉 Thanks.
