Word Document does not translate exactly the same to PDF when I convert using Adobe Acrobat Pro. Text getting overlap. Please find the space between L and A.

FWIW, your test file looks fine opened in Word for Mac v 15.33 (OS 10.11.6) and saved as a PDF.

For what it is worth, I downloaded the file in question and analyzed what is going on here at Adobe.

The text in question is not native to the Word document itself. It is a pasted .EMF (Enhanced MetaFile) graphic with text. The spacing in the resultant PDF is exactly what we see in the .EMF file isolated from the Word document. The “preview” of the .EMF file used by Word to display the content is fine, but the actual text within the .EMF file is formatted as you see in the PDF file. I don't think there is anything we can do for this at Adobe!

Hi Roopa ani,

We tried replicating the issue with the file and the issue was reproducible. We will report this issue to Product team. Currently there is not much that can be done expect to try Print as PDF and check if that may help. We don’t recommend to use Print to pdf but in this case you may try as a workaround.

You may refer to this link on how to print to pdf: Print to PDF

Thanks,

Shivam

Hi Roopa Ani,

Sorry for the delayed response.

Would it be possible to share the original word file with us?  To share the file here in the forums, please refer to the steps given here: How to share a file using Adobe Document Cloud

Also, let us know the option you are using to convert word file to pdf - File > Save as > Browse > save as type > .pdf or using Acrobat tab > Create PDF option in MS Word?

If your Word is 2013 or newer, it can save the DOCX as PDF. Better result.
