Working on a pdf, save to computer and its uneditable after.

I open a pdf file, fill it out and then I need to send it to another department so they can fill in a slot and the file is now unwritable. All I do is click on the disc up top that says save to computer. Is there a setting I need to change to stop acrobat pro from saving file as unwritable?

Sorry for the troubled experience.
With the limited information available, it is very hard to assume what could have happened. It may be that the file got locked for editing after you made the changes, or you signed the document, which again locked the document.
