Would like to "create" a different default font for the fillable fields in my forms. It is taking me forever to change every single field.

I use Acrobat Pro primarily to create fillable forms for my clients to fill out, sign and return.  My intake packet is 13 pages long (think new patient packet).  My goal is to have the fillable fields have the following characteristics:  Courier New, Size 11, Blue.

This makes it easier to differentiate the form text from the responses.

Right now, I am going through the form and having to click on properties for every single field to change it.

I need to change the default for the fillable fields so when I “Prepare a Form” and Acrobat fills the right places with text boxes, etc., they are formatted correctly.  Any help?

I am very new to this and understand there is a learnign curve.

You should be able to select the similar fields in Acrobat while editing the form, right-click to view Properties, and change the font enmass. (Courier is a “standard” font with Acrobat so it will take up less space than using Courier New.)

Select a field and right click.  The last entry on the popup menu is “Use Current Properties as New Defaults”

I got the idea that the form was already created.

He explicitly asked how to create default form field properties.  He doesn’t say it, but implies that he’s using the auto field detection to add fields to new forms. I believe that he’s changing the field properties manually because they were added with auto-detection, with the wrong properties.

    At least that’s my impression.
