What is the point of having the option to either auto-update Acrobat or not if the option is set to

auto update?

You uncheck the auto-update and hit OK. Go back into the selection and it’s set to auto-update.

Adobe is such a joke.

When you select Ok button, do you see UAC prompt? If not, can you check if UAC is enabled on your system? If not enabled, please enable UAC and try again.

If you had UAC and confirmed it and preference is not changed, here is what you will need to do-

Enable verbose ARM logging - search this forum for iLogLevel registry value and related instructions.

After logging is enabled, try to change preference.

Collect AdobeARM.log file from the current user Temp folder and AdobeARMHelper.log from Windows Temp folder.

Upload these logs somewhere and provide the link so I can check.

What a JOKE. You figure it out. I already said what the problem is. I always turn off auto-update so today Acrobat was updated WITHOUT ME DOING IT!

So I when into the screen shot above. Do you know where that is? It’s in the PREFERENCE settings. Do you know what the PREFERENCE settings are?

I turned off the AUTOMATICALLY INSTALL UPDATES. Do you see that up there in the screen shot?

I clicked OK - do you know what OK means? It means I wanted to turn off the auto update.

I went back into that screen and it was checked. CHECKED NOT UN-CHECKED like it should have been.

Do you want me to hold your friggin hand and guide you through it again? YOU GUYS SUCK!

Sinceramente desde que sai do Adobe Acrobat free que me resolvi e resolvi pagar assinatura até hoje sou crivado de balas, tipo voce é um idiota é o que me sinto nestes vais e vens de politica porca de privacidade agora para ter a dissidia legal tive que aplicar um Certisign antigo e mais Adobe Acrobat Pro de volta para poder assinar como antes não precisava de todas estas frescuras, sem token Certisign e sem Adobe Acrobat Pro era uma beleza e free, mas se resolve querer ser honesto pronto hoje honesto é tratado a bandido é o que se possa perceber virei saco de pancada me chega cada barbariedade do Adobe Acrobat Pro a cada dia e me enfiaram photoshop que reneguei e me enfiaram o cloude sei lá das quantas paguei 320 reais e foi para o lixo, ai meu banco nem acredita mais em mim virei bandido de mim mesmo, eu sou o honesto que cai na minha armadilha já o Adobe Acrobat o que se possa pensar neste diluvio de faça isto e faça aquilo a gente tem que ser TI dos serviços deles que pagamos isto é muito sem gosto o que acontece com este povo TI da Adobe vivem fora de órbita só pode ser isto.
