    Hi @DWT-IT,

Thanks for reaching out. And sorry for the troubled experience.
Please let us know when you get this message. Is it when you open a file from SharePoint, or does it happen even when opening a file saved locally?

In the meantime, could you try the following and let us know if that helps:

Turn off SharePoint / Online storage integration

    1. Open Adobe Acrobat

    2. Go to Edit > Preferences

    3. Select General

    4. Uncheck:

      • “Show online storage when opening files.”

    5. Click OK

If the issue persists, please share a video of the issue and help us with the following:

This happens only when opening directly from sharepoint, We use sharepoint as a mapped drive this has only been a problem since the latest update from adpbe. it seems there is a new feature within reader that I just want to turn off.

    Version is latest 2026.001.21346

Windows 11 fully up to date.

Thanks for the quick response, @DWT-IT.

Have you tried the preference I mentioned above? If so, let us know if that helps at all.
In the meantime, i trying to check this with product engineering.

    Few queries:

    1. Are you using Online SharePoint or on-prem?
    2. Could you share the video of the workflow?
    3. Also, is it possible to share Fiddler logs
    4. Are you able to open the same file from the web in the Acrobat app, https://acrobat.com/ ?
