Z@RD940.tmp font is reverted to Acrobat Pro DC (May,2020)

I have recently experienced the issue where I edit Text on a pdf file which is a text searchable pdf file, the font is changed to Z@rd940.tmp

I have tried with a pdf file created from a database application - native pdf and also with a MS Word file created by "save as pdf".

I have the latest version of Office365 (1908) and latest version of Acrobat Pro DC (20.003.20042).

Windows 10 Pro 10.0.18362   x64   

I can work around by changing the font and depending on if I move the mouse it may take my regular font or it may revert back to the nonsense font and try again - but this is not how the software should operate and I would appreciate a solution as I do intend to edit files often.
