$23 Toll to Enter Midtown Manhattan!?

😱  The first of its kind, New York City's  Congestion Pricing plan to charge drivers a daily toll to enter Manhattan south of 60th Street -- $23/day during rush hour, $17/day during off-peak hours -- was approved by the Federal Highway Administration. The goal is to help reduce congestion & pollution in the bussiest central business district and generate an expected $1 billion annually to improve mass transit.
