Continuing the tradition started by gener7, and continued by Peru Bob, we invite you to, “Something we can relate to part 3.” This is the Adobe Community place to post, “relevant cartoons, photo edits, memes and other assorted witticisms.” Here's a classic to start us off in 2024:

“Nike and Converse, what the hell were you thinking?” This sneaker ad has gone viral for all the WRONG reasons. After receiving backlash, Converse is backpeddling as fast as they can for its recent sneaker ad campaign.  Rep. Troy Carter from Louisiana had this to say:“Lynching is not a creative concept. The Ku Klux Klan is not an aesthetic. This campaign should never have been created, approved or released.”  “We’re sorry,” Converse said in a statement to PEOPLE. “We understand why this image is deeply upsetting and recognize that we got this wrong.” “We removed it from our channels and are working to remove it everywhere it appeared,” the statement continued. “This should not have happened and we will do better.”

Hummingbirds fly south for the winter in a staggered migration that begins as early as late June or July and lasts through OctoberGeneral Migration TimelineNorthern and Western Areas: Long-distance travelers like the Rufous hummingbird start moving south as early as late June or July. Hi, I'd appreciate presentation feedback on an illustration project I published on Behance: https://www.behance.net/gallery/256274811/Odd-Repairs-Halloween-Illustration-ClipartOdd Repairs is a Halloween clipart set with 16 full repair-workshop scenes, 16 simplified versions of those scenes, and 24 matching elements. The assets are SVG and transparent PNG. Generative AI was part of the production workflow and is disclosed in the project.Does the page clearly distinguish the full scenes, simplified variants, and standalone elements? Is the preview sequence enough to judge the set? Specific suggestions would help. Thanks!

I only need to preserve formatting from WPD (word perfect doc). I don’t need to edit, combine, split, etc.  I only make 10-15 of these PDFs a year. At $10-15/ MONTH for Acrobat/plus, I’ll lose money. Is there a simpler and cheaper standalone tool or service on the website per PDF I can use?

Thank you Adobe. After many years of supporting your products since photoshop 7 days even the introduction of lightroom, I think it's time for me to move on to another software. The recent price increases especially in the recent months has push me enough to find alternatives to the Adobe Create Suite.  Yes your products are great, but prices does not justify it enough for creatives or hobbiest. It's time to cancel my subscription. Thank you again for your wonderful products.

I'm interested to know whether any other user of any Adobe software has been receiving a lot of recent emails, apparently from mail@mail.adobe.com, almost all of which can only be best described as "Non-Adobe Spam", e.g. offers of prepaid cards (with large funds already loaded), or advertising "NortonLifelock Partner"? I run Mailwasher Pro to filter my incoming emails and so can "blacklist" (aka block) either the sender or the domain from which the message comes.   This is a problem for the above email sender address because I have received some messages which are clealry genuine and which I want to read, so blocking either sender or domain is not acceptable. So, has "mail@mail.adobe.com" been hijacked??? Jeff

Creating Halftones in Photoshop using UXPFeeling excited that one of the most popular plug-ins for creating Halftones in Photoshop is now DTPrep. It can quickly do color knockouts, Halftones in real-time, and eliminate semi-transparent pixels.I just wanted to share it as it was a lot of work to create something that would work well for T-shirt print shops as well as crafters, using UXP for Photoshop. Big thanks to the Adobe UXP team for continuing to update the documentation and address issues like some of the recent Photoshop Beta Drover updates.

I’m going over my Lightroom keywording to clean it up. I’m wondering how people keyword things like strawberries? would you put it under “food” or “crops?” So if you had photos of strawberry plants, how would you keyword it as opposed to strawberries in a fruit salad?

I upload the script I can't execute it

Hi everyone,I’m interested in learning how other Adobe users choose the right tools for their creative work.Adobe has so many applications for different purposes, from Photoshop and Illustrator to Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom, and more. I’m curious about which application has become the most useful part of your workflow. For me, the most interesting thing is how different people use the same software in completely different ways depending on their projects and experience level.Which Adobe application do you use most often, and what do you mainly use it for?I’d also love to hear about any features or shortcuts that have significantly improved your workflow.

I was registering for adobe India Insider program and they we're asking for student email id but my university haven't provided it yet so is there any alternative for that step in registration process?

This is the hardest and most difficult AI to use.  It doesn't listen, changes things I didn't ask it to, and distorts provided graphics after each rendering.  You really need to work on the usability. Jeez, even filling out this form is a nightmare.  You have category with a huge list and no search option. And after scrolling through it many times, I never found firefly.

I think it always great to share your work... and even cooler to share your portfolio.Since Adobe Portfolio allows you to personalize your protfolio.... the share your links. Here is mine...https://kennshinabery.myportfolio.com/ PLEASE KEEP THIS TOO JUST SHARING LINKS.... AS WAY TO SHOWCASE HOW YOU UTILIZE YOUR CREATIVITY.  NO SLAMS ON ADOBE PORTFOLIO.... JUST HOW YOU USE IT!

I’m working on the design of a local home-service website and I’m trying to make it feel professional and trustworthy without making it look too corporate or overly designed. The site is for a junk removal service, so the design needs to communicate a few things quickly: what the service does, which areas it covers, how someone can request a pickup, and why they should feel comfortable using the company.I’m currently thinking about using a simple layout with strong service imagery, clear typography, consistent spacing, and a limited color palette. I also want the pages to feel approachable rather than looking like a generic template. For designers who have worked on local service or home-service websites, what visual elements have you found make the biggest difference in perceived trust?Do you think real project photos, before-and-after images, icons, customer reviews, or a stronger brand identity have the most impact?I’d also be interested in hearing which Adobe tools you normally use f

Hey everyone,I’m working on a website for a security services company and want to ensure it looks professional, trustworthy, and visually appealing. Since security is all about reliability, I want to use the right colors, fonts, and layouts that give a sense of safety and professionalism.I’ve seen some great examples of security service websites that use clean designs and a professional feel. But I’d love to hear from you all—what design principles or Adobe tools do you recommend for making a security service website stand out?Looking forward to your insights!

The PTI Graphics board will show units that are rented as being empty, or doors open that are closed etc.  I’m having difficulty finding a company to come repair it.

We currently have a 50 gallon water heater run on natural gas... it works, but there have been a couple times that we've run out of hot water when doing successive showers... so we've decided to have a Rinnai installed like we had at our last house. After going to the Rinnai site https://www.rinnai.us/residential/solution-selector and answering the questions we decided that the maximum number of 'fixtures' we will ever run at one time is 3 and most likely fewer, but we don't want cold water in the shower again (3 fixtures could be dishwasher and clothes washer and the shower... probably not all at the same time, but cold water in the middle of taking a shower is really bad).I am an Army veteran so I get a small discount at Home Depot... as soon as our plumber visits to be sure what we want to do is possible I will place an order... the Rinnai is listed as .98 efficiency so I think we'll even get a deduction on next year's taxes (when we had to replace our DEAD furnace last year we got a

I have great landlords. In exchange for providing me with thousands of dollars worth of cat food and litter over the past eight years for the two cats I “volunteered” to take from them in a moment of weakness, they asked if I might be able to restore this photograph. They own and have restored a number of properties built during the 18 hundreds in my neighborhood (affectionately referred to as The Village) and they wanted to hang this image in one of them. Adobe Photoshop and a variety of AI tools to the rescue.

Since the pandemic hit, we've stayed away from movie theaters for the most part but we've been streaming plenty. Some were really outstanding; others were just meh!   I thought it might be fun to share our experiences here.    Last night we watched a 2021 black comedy/action/thriller called "Nobody" which was recommended by a friend.  If you don't mind gang violence and high action car chases coupled with good music & offbeat comedy, it's an entertaining ride.  B+ https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7888964/mediaindex/   We recently saw "Don't Look Up" which has a stellar cast and great performances but it fell apart in some places.  Still I can't help but feel there's a really good film in there somewhere.  And a hysterical scene after the credits, so don't turn it off prematurely.  B- https://www.imdb.com/title/tt11286314/mediaindex/   So what have you seen lately?

I know why it is that spotify automatically stops when your microphone has been transmitting for more than 30 seconds. I know it is there to hinder pirating spotify and other stuff. however, it is a bit annoying when i try to share my screen with one other friend, while having spotify playing a bit of music for me in the background. you see, even though nothing from spotify can be heard by the other person, it will still stop spotify after 30 seconds, because showing a screen or window on spotify with sound counts as using a microphone, therefore it stops spotify. It is especially annoying when you are in a private talk with a friend, have both paid for spotify premium and are now using the feature where you can listen to spotify together, but one person has microphone issues and push-to-talk / voice activation doesn't work right, so they have to put their microphone on constand transmitting, which in turn pauses spotify for them, or when they share a game window, sometimes even with m

I’m a web developer running a white-label web development agency, and I’m always looking for innovative ways to integrate design and functionality seamlessly. I know Adobe tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD are great for design, but I’m curious to know how other developers in this community are using these tools to enhance the user experience and overall functionality of their websites. What Adobe tools do you find most helpful for enhancing the development process?

We have a bowl of salad 4 or 5 times a week, so health is a concernI just asked Google if Romaine lettuce is infected... the answer is no, with a linkhttps://www.cdc.gov/cyclosporiasis/outbreaks/07-26/index.html

I accidentally crumpled the aluminum foil I was using to bake sliced potatoes, and they didn’t stick at all to the foil on the baking sheet when it was done cooking.I thought I came up with that but then found it is an old hack: https://www.tastingtable.com/2003011/aluminum-foil-hack-nonstick/
