Thank you Adobe.

After many years of supporting your products since photoshop 7 days even the introduction of lightroom, I think it's time for me to move on to another software. The recent price increases especially in the recent months has push me enough to find alternatives to the Adobe Create Suite.

Yes your products are great, but prices does not justify it enough for creatives or hobbiest.

It's time to cancel my subscription.
Thank you again for your wonderful products.

    No helpful replies. I was an early adopter of the computer and one of Adobe's first customers even representing them at tradeshows. As a retired low incoe but still workng part-time diabled senior I'm disgusted that this Uber Rich company that I helped int existence has NO low incme senoir discount for Illustrator and Photoshop. I can't justify the $50+ US dollars per month hostage fee to access my own creative files that exist in layered Adobe proprietory formats. I don't have a long enough life expectancy to hand convert all my files but am trying to save my favorited. My creative suite will self destruct and expite TODAY.

    @JoeyZerv

    Hi, Joey.  Are you aware of the annual Photography Plan (Photoshop and Lightroom) that's billed at $10/month?  It also includes Adobe Fonts.

     If you are not seeing it when you check the options to subscribe online, start a chat or call.

    Thank you for your response. I am aware of the different plans.

    However, I don't just use Photoshop and Lightroom. I also use Indesign, Illustrator, Premiere, and others.

    • Affinity
    • Luminar
    • DaVinci

    Have been pretty good alternatives.

    Thank you for your responses.

    That's a hard call. There are so many programs that now require a subscription that I don't bother with learning or getting new things, as I just wouldn't use them enough to justify the cost. I still have an old version of Microsoft office 2010 that works, so that's good. I can justify upgrading to their subscription version. Used to love Filemaker, for database, but it's now a subscription, so I stopped using that. So many others. They all add up to too much to spend on software. Got to be very selective, now.

    in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

    p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
