Has anyone every done this? Did it really work? Will a lemon work? Must it be Colgate toothpaste?

That was meant only for lenses that have been frosted from environmental conditions, not lenses that are just dirty. It’s a last-ditch effort before replacement.

Toothpaste is an abrasive. Test on something you don’t care about, not your vehicle’s lamp covers.
