Question

I only need to preserve formatting from WPD

I only need to preserve formatting from WPD (word perfect doc). I don’t need to edit, combine, split, etc.  I only make 10-15 of these PDFs a year. At $10-15/ MONTH for Acrobat/plus, I’ll lose money. Is there a simpler and cheaper standalone tool or service on the website per PDF I can use?

Is Word Prefect still around? I thought that died with Wordstar in the last century.

That said, no converter is 100% perfect.  You will invariably have some cleanup work to do. That’s expected.

The Word Prefect Office Suite 2021 does the job--but I don’t want to spend $200 to make 12 PDFs a year unless I have to. I don’t need the entrie package--just the converter which they don’t sell separately.

That online converter works for Word but not WP, but formatting for publication is hell in Word--super simple in WP.

Nitro Reader 5 used to be perfect--until support stopped earlier this year. WP 2021 is perfect.

LibreOffice Writer (free) can open Word Perfect files.
It can also export PDF files.

Thanks. This might work--but all the page formatting is lost and I have to reformat the entire document. Of course I have to learn that.

    I don’t need a READER. I need a CONVERTER.
