Adobe Certified Instructor for CC design/video apps: has the ACI program been canned?

Does anybody here know whether Adobe's ACI certification programs for Creative Cloud design/video are still alive? Have they been killed off?

I get no response from Training Partners. I tried contacting various help email addresses for Adobe Education and Certifications but nobody in those departments knows what is going on either.

I appreciate that Adobe is a big company with lots to do, and I am also aware that Adobe has stopped accepting new applications to the ACI programs. But as a decades-long-standing Adobe Certified Instructor whose current AD0-C101 and AD0-102 certifications reach the end of their two-year validity in a few weeks from now, it would be nice to know what is happening.

Will I still be an ACI at the end of April? Will anybody? To be ignored entirely is rather impolite.

If the ACI program is dead, it's a shame but that's Adobe's call. If the ACI program is to be kept alive, then great but how do we know? At the moment, my ACI status is like Shrödinger's cat.

    *** UPDATE 3 ***

Adobe Certified Instructors will have received an email today announcing the closure of the ACI program. After 31 December 2023, there will no longer be any Adobe Certified Instructors or Training Centers. It is sad to see the end of an era but I am relieved to have the matter settled. Adobe is showing goodwill by giving all ACIs an extension of two years to Creative Cloud (all apps).

By the way, you will also be invited to complete a form to request some free vouchers for Certiport's Adobe Certified Professional exams and learning products. As an ACI you almost certainly will have no need of these, which is just as well as the form submission fails with an error anyway. On the other hand, the offer gives the impression that the entry-level ACPro certification will continue.

    Good luck everyone.

Thank you Alidabbs for this important update.

I am really disappointed with this choice by Adobe because, as previously written, Adobe certified instructors have invested so much time and resources in keeping their level updated. ACI certifications are professionally valued and in high demand in the teaching field and I do not understand what will in fact now differentiate an instructor from the ACP certification which is in fact the foundation for which all students prepare.
I will wait for the email from Adobe.
Thanks again for your precious support!

    *** UPDATE v2 ***

Adobe Training Partners have just emailed me to advise that I must renew my membership in order to stop my ACI status from expiring.

Basically, in separate emails sent to me just a week apart, they are telling me (a) that ACI renewals are not possible, and (b) that I must renew my ACI.

Hi Alidabbs, I'm in the same situation. Could you kindly tell me if the two emails received come from the same address or do you have any further information on how to renew? Thanks a lot.

I asked Adobe Training Partners why they were sending contradictory emails to me. They responded to say that the invitation for me to renew my ACI should be ignored and confirmed that the ACI program had indeed been suspended indefinitely. They said were unable to stop such renewal emails from being sent.

    *** UPDATE***

I received the following courteous reply from trainingpartners this morning:

Thank you for reaching out about the Adobe Certified Instructor program.
As more of our training partners transition from in-person to virtual training models, we’re reviewing our program guidelines. At this time, we aren’t accepting new applications for the program, and we’ve paused the renewal process. We’ll get in touch with you as soon as we have new information to share.

In practice, this means our ACI certifications for Creative Cloud apps will expire naturally and cannot be renewed, at which point we won't be ACIs any more. Eventually no-one else will be either. When our ACI statuses expire, we will need to start paying full price for our CC subscriptions. Obviously that's disappointing but it is good to know where we stand at last.

I feel very frustrated with this topic. It's impossible to find updated information. I wrote three times to trainingpartners@adobe.com and never got a response. First time on 10th August 2022.

Everything you can find about this topic gets you in circles to the training partners website (where it tells you to write to the address above) or into adobe learning FAQ or certifications
And there is no clear information at all. I've spent several hours looking for this information, and I feel like a fool. And the center where I teach is asking me to get the certification.

    So... help?  ...anybody? please.

    Thanks!
