Adobe Wants Your Opinion Survey

Hi,

I received an email supposedly from Adobe regarding an opinion survey.  Grand prize $1500 Amazon gift card.  Is this legit?  I poked around Adobe's site to see if they posted something about the survey but have found nothing.  And within the email, if you want to be certain that the email is legit, you can click on a link to verify.  THAT made me suspicious?  Anyone else receive this?

Thanks,

Ruth

I got that email too. There's a link to validate it that does, in fact, go to an Adobe site: https://www.adobe.com/limited/survey/Adobe-Survey-Authentication-Feb-2020.html

And the company running the survey is Illuminas. So I think, in this case, it is a real thing and not a scam.

A phishing email requests you to login to ur account appearing to be the legit page but the website doesn't match. The survey is way too complex to be a scammer. But as always if you don't feel comfortable don't do it. I cannot 100% tell you what to do cause I cannot see you email. Be safe

There is a a survey for Adobe After Effects where you can win a 12-month Creative Cloud subscription at the moment, but I don't see anything that gives an Amazon Gift Card.

Personally, I would be suspicious of such a high amount.

As mentioned by the previous replies, check the email address and pass this email on to https://helpx.adobe.com/security/alertus.html

Hard to say. Companies - including Adobe - do run surveys from time to time and may even feature a giveaway that's bound to it.

Adobe has several email addresses from which you could receive emails from:
    https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/kb/no-email-received.html

You could check the email address in your email and see if it's listed there, but even then it's not a 100% guarantee that it's legit, as email addresses can be easily spoofed... If you're in doubt, send that email to Adobe: https://helpx.adobe.com/security/alertus.html

I've moved this from the poorly named Community Help forum (which is the forum for issues using the forums) to the Lounge forum.
