Hi John. Good to meet another Unz reader here!

That article is incorrect. A world with exclusively igital payments will not eliminate the drug trade, nor prostitution, bribery, etc. Instead of cash (or digital currency), buyers will barter possessions or services. Thanks for sharing the post. It had lots of good comments!

Well, according to the occasional news report, that is what the "ladies" on the street are doing now

I can sort of see it now in a back alley somewhere...

"Psst... I've got a bushel of corn that I'll trade for a bag of Marijuana"

The part that I thought was MOST interesting is his idea that as soon as everything is a digital payment, there will be no more illegal drugs since the money will be easy to trace
