Anyone else thinking of buying an Echo Show?

Wife now uses a Kindle Fire in the kitchen for recipes... and grumbles every time she has to wash her hands because the swipe screen gets messy

The Introducing Echo Show - Amazon Official Site  seems like it is the answer to her problem

    I'm interested enough to follow your thread John, but so far, I am confused at all the options.  An old buddy of mine used to say 'He who dies with the most toys wins', an I agree that you can never have too many geeky gadgets.  So what else, other than respond to 'Hey Echo... was that 20 CCs or fluid ounces?' would the Echo do for you?

    probably more... mostly earning "points" from the wife
