Big Girl Tippy Cup

Young children use a Tippy Cup while learning to drink on their own

While she is recovering from a broken kneecap, and slowly moving around the house with a walker, my wife is using an Adobe cup I was sent last year... just the right size to fit in the pocket of the carry bag I bought to go on her walker

You're putting your Adobe cup to good use.  🙂

Recovery when you are 70+ is not quick... her surgery to put the pieces together was 4-26 and physical therapy starts sometime in June, after she has an Xray to verify that the bones are knitting properly... with the duration of PT as yet unknown... but at least she is able to get around while wearing her locking leg brace... the real test is going to be when she starts PT and her leg brace is adjusted to allow her knee to bend... estimates of back to normal are anywhere from 2 to 6+ months

She doesn't need them in the house... IF she goes outside while still needing a walker I will buy one with four legs and no wheels for better stability (the one she has was given her in the ER)

You may want to consult with a physical therapist or her physician first.

It may put strain on her knee differently than one with two wheels.

One without wheels is much harder to maneuver.  I can speak from personal experience.
