Boeing is still in trouble

The last time I flew was to http://www.direct2usales.com/VEGAS.HTM on 3-25-24 - which will probably be the last time I ever fly since I have NO future vacation plans that require flying
.
At that time I was watching the news about Boeing VERY closely to decide if I would fly or cancel
.
I decided today to check the news to see what is happening with Boeing
.
Recap - in 2021 Boeing paid 2.5 Billion to settle a case about 2 crashed 737-Max planes... in the settlement Boeing agreed to 'improve' their quality - NOTE Boeing and McDonnel Douglas merged in 1997 and Boeing began to decline when 'bean counters' took over managing the merged company, replacing the engineers who had been running the company
.
That 'improved' quality was shown to be a lie when a door fell off of a plane in January 2024
.
Reported July 8 2024 the recent Boeing problems led to a GUILTY plea in that 2021 deferred case, and another fine of 243 Million... there is still a separate criminal probe into the door incident

Trump-Vance campaign adds new repurposed Boeing 737 to the fleet.

What could possibly go wrong?  🤔 🤔

When I few to Vegas it was on a 737-Max one way and an older non-Max 737 the other way... I made it both ways

As long as the Secret Service and local police do their jobs and keep people away from the plane better than they kept the recent shooter away they should be OK

Boeing Starliner crew is still stranded on the International Space Station.

What was supposed to be an 8-day mission has expanded into an indefinite space orbit while NASA teams attempt to sort out various problems with helium leaks and failing thrusters. Good news is the 2-person crew can hitch a ride back to Earth on SpaceX's Dragon Capsule or Russian Soyuz Capsule, both of which are currently docked to the ISS.

A once great 'quality first' company destroyed by the 'profits first' managers
