Cyber Romance Scams Targeting Children
Romance scams are nothing new. Dating sites & social chat rooms have been plagued by them for years. But now the Romance Scammers are targeting teenage children. The FBI warns of explosive increase in online "sexploitation schemes" coming from the western coast of Africa. The FBI said it is issuing the national public safety alert now since kids may be spending more time online as schools close for winter break.
