Does your Google Chrome show as being MANAGED?

My wife uses Google Chrome on a Windows 11 computer... she is an individual user and our only 'network' is a file sharing link through our Xfinity modem

In spite of being a standalone computer Chrome was showing MANAGED when she would try to delete cookies that she didn't want

I did a search and found out how to fix the problem

1 - log in using Safe Mode (which has admin level settings)

2 - start regedit

3 - delete HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Policies\Google\Chrome

Now Chrome allows her to go to chrome://settings/content/all and delete unwanted cookies
