I accidentally crumpled the aluminum foil I was using to bake sliced potatoes, and they didn’t stick at all to the foil on the baking sheet when it was done cooking.

    The same hack works equally well with parchment paper. Baked foods can’t adhere to bumpy surfaces the way they do to smooth ones.

    When we want non-stick in the oven we use a ‘silicone mat’ on a cooking tray
