Hey guys! I wrote a 30 page pocket book titled 'Display Technology, Pixels, and Printed Ink: The Beginner's Guide'. I'm looking for some sort of organization that will fact check it and add a badge to it that says it's been peer reviewed. Unfortunately, I can't find anyone that would do this sort of thing! What should I do?
The colour calibration part forgets to mention that only with a hardware colour calibration device is it possible to colour calibrate a screen properly. The "by eye" method that you describe is (sorry) useless in production and should not be used. If a hardware colour calibrator isn't available, it is actually preferable to rely on the factory's standard colour settings (even though those are also probably wrong - but not nearly as wrong as calibrating by eye!).
