Is Romaine lettuce infected?

I have heard that the infection is now on its way out recently so I wouldn’t worry about it so much now. 

I threw caution to the wind and bought a big locally grown mixed veggie platter with dip. 

If you believe the CDC, cyclospora is linked to shredded iceberg lettuce from Taylor Farms. But Michiganders are having the worst outbreak and local public health officials there aren’t certain exactly where it’s coming from.

We’re avoiding all Taylor Farms products. I rarely buy bagged salads anyway.

Cyclospora Busting Blender Gazpacho (cold soup):

Roasted onion, garlic & green peppers, canned chilis & canned tomatoes. I also added one scrubbed & peeled hothouse cucumber, chopped & seeded. It’s a refreshing substitute for summer salad.

I’ve been triple washing my romaine lettuce - just to be sure !
