I have this old  photo that  I need to restore the hands, and dress,  I have tried the Healing tool , and sharp tool but it does not seem to have done anything to improve it, you can see the fingers, but this is it. Any suggestion is appreciated.

I tried to upload the photo but it has rejected it, and I can not paste it either. what other way can I upload this photo?

Jeannette.

Replying as a restoration artist and Lynda.com author on the subject, all i can say is that a satisfactory result can only be had by either redrawing or matching in new hands as my reply previously. I find that those that use the drawing in technique, the replacement ends up looking airbrushed and the to counteract this, restorations are often airbrushed over the whole image. It is then no longer a photo but a drawing. Some prefer this. Carefully blending in new hands in with grain matching techniques is the best way to go. IMHO

Sure just upload the photo to photo or file sharing site i.e dropbox. google drive etc and share (paste) the link in your reply! Maybe then us PhotoShop persons can advise...

Dropbox is an online file storage site you sign up for free at dropbox.com or use your google account and save the file in Google drive. These are not options in Photoshop that are external. You will need to read up on how to use these services on the services websites. Alternatively google "how to I share a photo online" What’s the Fastest and Easiest Way to Share an Image Online? I am sorry i cannot offer more help but this is a Adobe help forum not a file sharing help forum. You could also try Creative Cloud Help | Share files, libraries, and more sharing files with Adobe Cloud.!
