Yep, it's really a pretty disgusting "solution" that Adobe has come up with. Especially when every update breaks something or you are stuck with a workflow that you don't particularly care for. You can probably find a version of CS6 somewhere which would work depending on your media. I honestly hate it.

      Nobody is forcing you to buy a subscription to use Adobe programs

       

      If you don't like the subscription, there are MANY other programs

      Yup - the subcription model is the worst.  If there were any consumer protections in the US, this kind of bundling would be illegal.
