RIP Florence Henderson

Man, it's been a rough year for famous people and movie stars. She wasn't all that to me other than I grew up in that era when televisions were hugh boxes and every show seemed to portray life as peachy and had happy-ever-after endings. To bad she couldn't hold on a little longer and make it into the new year. But she still made her mark and left a legacy for the rest us and those after. May she find peace.

Its sad to see the number of people who die each year almost as sad is the number of missing persons. All will be missed and Mrs Henderson is no doubt missed by many. May she rest in peace!

Damn, no sooner do I post about Florence Henderson, then there's breaking news about Fidel Castro passing at 90. I don't know what to say about that guy other than when the boatman takes him across; a lot of souls are going to be waiting at the shore for their turn at payback.

I grew up with all of them.
