Stephen Wilhite, I know that name. I"m so sorry. Anyone know or are in contact with any relatives of his? I'd like to know more, sorry to be inappropiate

He was only 74.  So sad he succumbed to COVID-19.

Although I rarely use GIF anymore (WEBP is much better), I always pronounced it GIF with soft g to differentiate it from JayPeg.
