Selling my Work

I've written a book and used adobe to generate the pictures for me. I am looking to publish and sell the book. Am I allowed to use the pictures generated? And if so, how?

When you say you used Adobe to generate pictures, what does that mean exactly?

    1. Did you create original artwork with an Adobe product like Photoshop or Illustrator?  Yes, you can use the artwork commercially.

    2. Did you use Templates/Artwork from Adobe Stock?  It depends on the license you purchased -- Standard, Enhanced, Extended or Editorial Use Only.

    3. Or did you use Firefly Generative AI?

Also consult with your book publisher. They may have other requirements that are not mentioned here.

    Hope that helps.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Yes, you can use pictures generated with Adobe software as long as you created them from scratch and didn't use any restricted assets. If you used stock images or templates, make sure you have the proper license for commercial use. Always check Adobe's licensing terms to ensure compliance before publishing and selling your book.
