Continuing the tradition started by gener7, and continued by Peru Bob, we invite you to, “Something we can relate to part 3.” This is the Adobe Community place to post, “relevant cartoons, photo edits, memes and other assorted witticisms.” Here's a classic to start us off in 2024:

I’m a regular at a bar a couple blocks from where I live, and I always bring my laptop to respond to emails, do some basic image editing, etc. I don’t drink….doctor’s orders…but I sip on diet cokes while I’m working, with my eyes rarely looking away from whatever task is at hand. Anyway, the presence of my laptop apparently has some patrons assuming I’m the owner of the bar. When they ask me a question about the bar (like, "How long have you owned this place?"), a part of me wants to respond with a version of my generic response to contributors asking why their accounts were disabled:

“You are not addressing the owner here, but a customer like yourself, and I can do nothing to be of assistance. If you have not already done so, try getting the bartender’s attention to ask for details. She's very busy, so it will most likely be awhile before you hear from her, other than a possible nod of her head notifying you that she is aware of your existence. Do not attempt to contact her repeatedly, as that really ticks her off, and doing so will probably slow down any interest she has in helping you.”

Reminds me of the "I don't work here, Lady" posts on Reddit.

My "I don't work here, Lady" story:

I was shopping for lamp sockets in OSH (Home & Garden Center) and was approached by a middle-aged woman who thought I worked there. I instantly recognized her as Swedish-American actress, Vivica Lindfors, whom I've always admired for her work on stage, films & TV.

She asked me to help her find vanity light bulbs. I just played along with it b/c I had a rough idea where they were. My pale yellow golf shirt and loose cotton khakis were nothing like OSH's green aprons. But who pays attention to details like that, right?

Then she asked me electrical questions, at which point I said, "Look, I don't work here. I'm just a fellow shopper like you."  Bewildered & a little embarrassed, she said, "Oh, I assumed you worked here by the way you're dressed."  🙄

Thereafter, I wore neon t-shirts & jeans so as not to be misidentified as a home & garden center employee.

Taquitos are rolled up tacos. Burritos are big fat meal wraps.

    Trick or Treat!

Portlanders created a fashion trend. Amazon sold out of these inflatable frog costumes. But inflatable chickens & unicorns can still be ordered in time for Halloween.
